I just went through this, so this post will be from memory - will add a video tutorial in coming days.
- Install SOBI
- Remove Custom Fields that you won't need
- Add fields with IDs: emp_info, position (with whatever labels you want)
- OPTIONAL: Rename "Title" to Staff Member and "Logo" to Staff Photo on general SOBI tab
- OPTIONAL: Change to single column, remove search, remove category description, rename First Category to Staff Members
- Use the LOGO Field, NOT the icon field, but do NOT hide or disable the icon field, it makes the template look funny
- Change the border color in General -> Background, to blend in to your site, also deselect a background pattern
- Change your SOBI max image upload size, it'll resize, so no biggie
- SOBI template manager, install the new template, set it as default template for V-Card view
- SOBI in template manager, V-Card template, check box to use template rather than default function
- I think that's it.. When you add entries, you'll see how it looks.
