February Freebie - Website Blog Section

If you haven't been using a blog on your site, this could be the time.  A blog is NOT for everyone, they are useful for pushing passive updates to the public, and can help with syndication of your content - and creating a buzz or conversation on other social media.  If you have a business that doesn't want a buzz, and doesn't fit for social media (twitter/facebook/email/etc) then safely ignore this Freebie....

For the majority of the businesses out there - a blog can be a handy way to get content out and keep people talking about you, without a barrage of emails that can be pesky.  Our "Blog Section" freeby is actually a few plug-ins combined with some core elements of Joomla put together in a mashup of goodness.  You can see a couple examples of what this will end up looking like on 2 of our websites:

We use ours to spell out new advances in our business, new specials, and general industry information that might not have a home anywhere else.  This months Freebie is we will setup a tab on your site, just like our site, complete with social networking links, a comment system, and a very short training on how to get information on the page.
